Who was Aesop? Aesop was a storyteller that wrote fables and lived between 620 - 564 BCE.  Thats over 2500 years ago.

A fable is a story that usually uses animals to teach a valuable life lesson, or moral. This type of story is typically short and has moral at the very end.
