The past year and a half has been action packed to say the least. Beginning with Covid and progressing to quarantine, a friend’s property nearly wiped out by climate change–induced flooding, the election, civil rights protests, a friend’s broken leg, another friend’s divorce, and virtual schooling. But the show must go on. My works in this show reflect my need to reconcile this swirling maelstrom of activity with trying to maintain some sort of focus, normalcy and sanity.
