We Want Your Story
We want to hear your story about your neighborhood or your neighbors.  What was it like growing up in your neighborhood?  You can talk about the good times, the sad times, the challenges and triumphs.  You can talk about your friends and family.  You can make us smile, laugh or even shed a tear.

We want to build a portrait of the Great Lakes Bay Region filled with your short stories.  Stories will be available for others to view.

Where to Share?
At one of our events
  • The Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum and the Great Lakes Bay Region will have several opportunities for you to come to us and share your story.  Check out our calendar of events for the Big Read by visiting marshallfredericks.net/bigread for events and locations.  See calendar for details.
At the Museum
  • The Museum will also be ready for you to come record your story.  Stop by during business hours or call for an appointment.   Museum staff will be on hand to assist you and record your story.
Need to collect your thoughts? Try using our storytelling worksheet to prepare to tell your story.  You can download it here.
You will also need to fill out our video release form so we can use your video.  Download it here or pick one up at the museum.
